Monel K-500 (UNS N05500 / EN 2.4375) per ASTM B865. Al (2.3-3.15%) + Ti (0.35-0.85%) addition to Monel 400 base enables precipitation hardening to Rm 900-1100 MPa while retaining full seawater and HF corrosion resistance. Non-magnetic (excellent for minesweeper shafts), non-sparking (ATEX). Standard for marine pump shafts in seawater, submarine shafts, and ATEX non-sparking tools requiring higher strength than Monel 400.
